The Town Too Tough To Die
Tombstone is a historic city in Cochise County, in the U.S. state of Arizona. Known for its Wild West history, it was once the last wide-open frontier town in the American West — and it is also known as the creepiest ghost town of the West. Though Arizona may be small, it has plenty of genuinely creepy places to talk about. Look back through the history of Tombstone and you find cowboy shootouts, seedy brothels and shady poker games with quiet blood spillage. It is no shock that a few ghosts may still be roaming the Wild West. Tombstone remains the ideal place to step down and soak up the atmosphere of the "Town Too Tough To Die."
Tombstone also boasts of witnessing the most famous gunfight in America's Wild West history — the O.K. Corral, one of the most gruesome fights ever fought between outlaws and lawmen. The most gruesome murders took place here, and the creepiest ghost stories still linger. Resident ghosts are believed to haunt the Bird Cage Theatre to this day. One of the eeriest places to visit is Boot Hill and the state cemetery, where outlaws were buried. Today, the main source of income for residents comes from souvenir sales and the daily re-enactment of the 1881 O.K. Corral gunfight.
Doc Holliday's Saloon
Doc Holliday's Saloon is the ideal place to get a taste of local craft beers. There is a smoking patio at the back, a jukebox, and plenty of seats along the long bar — and it is always filled with locals. The karaoke on weekends is another draw, alongside the extremely friendly bartenders. It is also one of the places that stays open until late at night. The fun décor along the walls adds a hue of nostalgia — which is the whole point of visiting Tombstone. It was here that the local shootout left people baffled and confused, say Arizona authorities.

What Authorities Say Happened
Arizona authorities say that a saloon shooting in the old west town of Tombstone put one man in hospital with a leg injury and another man in jail. The incident happened at the home of Doc Holliday — the dentist-turned-gunfighter portrayed in the O.K. Corral re-enactments. The trouble began after a verbal altercation that involved a third man and a woman.
The struggle at Doc Holliday's Saloon was followed by shooting, according to the Cochise County Sheriff. James Edward Roberson remains jailed on charges of aggravated assault and other crimes. Spokeswoman Capas said Roberson and his female companion had surrendered their guns to the bartender as soon as they arrived on Friday evening. The struggle and shooting began after the couple retrieved those guns in the early hours of Saturday morning. Whether Roberson has an attorney to comment on his behalf is still unknown.
