Super Bowl XLII (February 3, 2007)
Super Bowl XLII is a professional football championship game conducted by the National Football League (NFL). Participants include the champions of the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). The winning team wins the Vince Lombardi Trophy and is considered the NFL's best football team of the year. Super Bowl XLII will be held at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

X-Files 2
The truth is out there again. FOX announced production will start Dec. 10 in Vancouver on an X-Files sequel, which reunites the show's stars, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. The studio also picked July 25, 2008 as the U.S. release date. Series creator Chris Carter will direct the still-untitled film. The first feature film grossed $187 million worldwide. X-Files, the series ran for nine seasons on FOX Television.
Sean Taylor (American Football Player)
Tuesday, November 27, 2007 -- Washington Redskins safety,
Sean Taylor, critically wounded early Monday, has died.
According to the Washington Post, Taylor, 24, died early Tuesday from the gunshot wound he suffered a day earlier in his Miami home. The Pro Bowl safety died at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he had been taken after being shot once in the leg early Monday morning.
Kevin DuBrow (Rock Singer, Quiet Riot)

Kevin DuBrow, lead singer for the 1980s heavy metal band Quiet Riot that scored a hit with "Cum on Feel the Noize," was found dead in a Las Vegas home Sunday. He was 52. The cause was not immediately known. Determination of the cause of death was pending an autopsy and toxicology results. "Cum on Feel the Noize" appeared on Quiet Riot's album "

Robert Goulet (Singer Actor)

Robert Goulet, an award-winning stage and recording career, has died of pulmonary fibrosis. He was 73. The singer died Tuesday morning in a Los Angeles hospital while awaiting a lung transplant. Goulet, born to French-Canadian parents in Lawrence, Mass., has won acclaim for a Broadway career that took off after his debut performance as Sir Lancelot in “Camelot” in 1960.
Porter Wagoner (Country Music Singer)

Porter Wagoner, passed away October 28, 2007 in a Nashville, Tenn hospice. Wagoners’ broad smile, flashy costume and memorable songs are the very image of an country music star. According to a Grand Ole Opry news release Wagoner had been hospitalized with lung cancer. Wagoner had 81 singles on the country charts, including 29 Top 10 records and was host of a tv show.

What curse? The Boston Red Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, October 28, 2007 to win the 2007 World Series Championship, The Red Sox won 4-3. A four-game sweep. Colorado's manager Clint Hurdle. Boston's manager, Terry Francona. Mike Lowell named the series MVP. This is the seventh World Series Championship for the Red Sox, the second in four years. Jon Lester winning pitcher.
