WINSLOW (AZR) -- A documentary film that explores the unique ways in which young Native Americans are finding to express themselves in a contemporary world while maintaining strong traditional lives will be screened at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of Winslow High School on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Saturday, November 17, 2007 -- Winslow’s 61st Annual Christmas Parade
Venue: Downtown Winslow | Location: Second and Third St. | Time: 1:00pm

City: Winslow, AZ -- Winslow hosts its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 17, 2007. The parade, starts at 1pm, will feature Navajo and Hopi dancers, high school marching bands and dozens of Shriners. Children can visit with Santa at the Famous "Standin' On The Corner Park" for a few hours before the parade! Check out the food and craft booths which are set up along the parade route. Families, teachers and the community are invited to attend the Book Fair, featuring an Artic theme: Book Fair Blizzard. Union days appear over in America, where only nine percent of workers are members of organized labor. This certainly does not mean that the working classes and middle classes that were formerly active in such groups are ecstatic about their wages: quite the contrary. Bosses have found ways to work around militant organizations by exporting jobs to China, Vietnam and quite a few other countries with much lower standards of living than our own. And given the fear that working people have of being tossed out of their jobs should they try to fight for better conditions, they give the owners of industries large and small their tacit consent not to protest.

Pushing the boundaries of classical ballet, Spain's emerging choreographic powerhouse Alejandro Cerrudo presents Off Screen, a dance inspired by film. It's sexy and modern with eccentric moves. Ib Andersen showcases the elegant and intricate Symphonie Classique with costumes by Tony Award-winning designer Martin Pakledinaz,and Indigo Rhapsody, an arresting and athletic ballet danced to Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department will host six public open houses where constituents may review and ask questions about the 2014 spring recommendations for turkey, javelina, buffalo and bear.
